Minimal Techno is a music style hailing directly from Detroit Techno as its successor which was born in the USA. It very soon came to Europe, where it was very popular especially in 1986-1988 years. In those period the main Dj of this species was Jeff Mills who opened a record company called Underground Resistance. The big influence on his music had Detroit Techno  and agressive European style EBM. In the USA it was rather not popular and all its evolution held on old continent. Another Djs are : Daniel Bell, Plastikman and Richie Hawtin. Chracteristic attribute is minimum of sound and a maximum of loop (4/4 beat) which made it very extraordinary and climatic style, but it is not simple music is more complicated than for example House or Rave.
