Gabber, called also Hardcore is one of the most extremal species of electronic music. It has his roots in the Rave music and subculture, but ancestors of this style are considered House pieces, made in 1987. They had accelerated rythm to about 135-145 bmp and sharper beat. True explosion of this music was in 1991- 1992 years in Belgium, when was made the most famous records as Get Down Everybody and Nightmare by Holy Noise or Who Kill JFK by Misteria. Gabber very soon went to Holland where djs Paul Elstalk and Dark Raver accelerated rates to 160- 170 bmp and introduced characteristic bass-line mixed with noise, that all gave this style very strong and power beat. Gabber is most popular and liked in Holand, Belgium, Germany and USA. Now the most famous Djs are: Dj Nosferatu, Neophyte, DJ Viper, Angerfist and Outblast. Something more about Gabber
